What is a Mini session?

A Christmas Mini session is a great opportunity to have seasonal portraits taken of your children at a discounted price of a full length portrait session. People often use these images for their annual Christmas cards or to give as gifts during the holiday season!

My Christmas Mini session location is styled beautifully using holiday decorations and greenery as a background. I want these images to have a real holiday mood despite being shot in October!

Who: only kids (a family picture possible for extra fee of CHF 50.-)

After having struggled every year to take nice photos for Christmas cards, I saw Ana’s advertisement for a professional Xmas photo shooting with lovely props and a Christmas-themed background. It was exactly what I needed! I imagined the photo shooting to be very stressful with three young children, but we actually had a very good time! Ana and her colleague very skilfully entertained the children while taking the pictures, so we have lots of smiles on these photos. None of the kids got bored or tried to run off, which is close to a miracle! Delicious Christmas cookies added to the nice atmosphere, and the children appreciated a little surprise to take home. I could not have asked for better service – Ana even delivered the printed Christmas card to my home in person! Many of the recipients of our Christmas cards commented on the high quality of the photos. I warmly recommend Ana and look forward to more such occasions!

The Process

  • To book your session please send me a message via email anastasia.tarantina@gmail.com or using Contact Form on this site. I will contact you with booking details.
  • Next, you need to define your time slot and pay the session fee.
  • Then you’ll have your photoshoot and enjoy some time together in a holiday environment.
  • 2-3 weeks after the shoot you’ll get a link to a private online gallery, where you can select your favourite images.

What is a Mini Session?
 
Minis are short, 20-minute sessions. They will take place at a particular date, at a specific location and within a limited timeframe. These shoots are perfect for families who just want a few high quality portraits to make cards or use as gifts.

How long will be a session?
 
Minis are short, run for 20 min maximum. 
What if the weather is bad?
 
As much as I hope the weather will cooperate if there is a case we need to reschedule your session.  All sessions have allocated rain dates. Allocated Rain dates are the backup dates for your reserved session if bad weather prevents your session from taking place. When purchasing your Session, you are agreeing to the allocated Rain Date.
What will I get?
 
You will receive your photos on a personalised, password protected, online gallery within 2-3 weeks of our session. After you select your favourites I will proceed with editing and once finished send you the ready files via online platform WETRANSFER. This allows for the quickest delivery of the ready images.
Can I purchase additional images?
 
Yes, absolutely
What if I can not make it?
 
Once your session is booked, it is non-refundable (except if we need to cancel because of the bad weather forecast). 
It is also important that you reserve your time slots for backup dates. Please note that you can not claim refund if for some reason you are not available for these dates. 
 
Kids of what age can participate?
 
These sessions are recommended for kids over 4 years. If your kids are younger please book only if you are absolutely sure they will cooperate. Small kids often need some time to be accustomed to new environment and unfortunately we will be unable to grant this time since Minis are short and planned back to back.  Please note that Anastasia Tarantina Photography will not give refunds due to lack of subject cooperation (crying/upset toddler, etc.).
